UBE Scholarship Application

General Qualifications:

a. Applicant must be a member of an Episcopal Church in
the Diocese of Newark.

b. Applicant must have applied for admission to an
institution of higher learning. * see note

c. Applicant must be involved in church, school and
community service.

Requirements: The following must be submitted with the
application in order to be processed:

a. Letter of recommendation from the parish priest.

b. One page statement in the applicant's handwriting about
his/her future plans.

    c.    Letter of recommendation stating class standing from a
          secondary school official.

    d.    High school / college transcript.

e. Two letters of recommendation from members of
applicant's congregation.
